Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system. Chiropractors use adjustments to correct subluxations of the spine and extremities. Subluxations contribute to health disorders and pain. The doctors utilize Chiropractic adjustments and CranioSacral as well as Activator instrument, Drop Table adjusting, and other light touch adjustments. They also do viceral adjusting to correct abnormal organ and tissue motion. Chiropractic can treat headaches, neck pain, mid back pain, shoulder problems including rotator cuff injuries and pain, low back pain, disc injuries, pain resulting from auto accidents, knee and ankle pain, and many other conditions.
Applied Kinesiology
Applied Kinesiology is a non-evasive technique of testing structural (back pain, sciatica, neck pain), chemical (digestive, hormonal, neurochemicals) and mental (stress) aspects of health using functional assessment of the neuromuscular / neuromechanical system. A.K. is also used with other standard methods of diagnosis.
The Doctors use muscle testing to determine where you need to be adjusted. They find weak muscles, trace that muscle to the nerve source then make a specific chiropractic adjustment to that nerve area to remove nerve system interference. The adjustments are either made by hand or with a low force instrument. Once the adjustment is made they recheck the muscles to make sure they are stronger, increasing function in that part of the body.
